The Man in the Moon
One of my all time favourites. I have absolutely no idea what is going on in the image. Is the little boy painting the man in the moon or feeding him? There appears to be pots of paint and honey on the ground and he seems to be proffering a spoon so either could be happening. Also, what is the little boy leaning his ladder against? And why is the moon wearing a hat??? It's bonkers and that's exactly why I like it. If you're on my Christmas card list you may well be receiving this one this year.
This year, I have decided to offer my charming vintage reproduction Christmas cards for the the princely sum of ONE ENGLISH POUND.
A completely brilliant festive bargain!
Some of these cards have limited numbers and once they're gone they're gone... You have been warned (in the friendliest possible way).
The images on the cards have been lovingly reproduced from original Victorian and Edwardian Christmas postcards and illustrations. The cards measure 115mm x 165mm and say 'Seasons Greetings' on the inside. Each comes with a white envelope and is housed in a cellophane wrapper.
